He is currently a member of the faculty at Harvard Medical School, and is the Director of the Human Imaging Core at the Athinoula A Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in the Department of Radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital responsible for 8 whole body MRI scanners dedicated to research.  His primary interest is in quality control, safety, and system performance as it pertains to general clinical image quality, accuracy and precision of quantitative imaging biomarkers, and in the continued improvements of general clinical imaging applications.

Matthew Hayes

BSRS RT (R)(MR)(CT), MRSO (MRSCTM)
President / Co-Creator of ImagingU and ScanLabMR

Matthew Hayes is a lifelong learner and teacher of all things MRI and has been scanning clinically since 2003.  While serving as a professor of MRI at a local university, he recognized the lack of didactic MRI educational tools in the field and sought to create visual content for advanced concepts that could be seen and not imagined. Matthew co-founded ImagingU in 2014 and now helps universities, health care organizations and individuals from over 150 countries improve patient care and outcomes through high quality education.
